Bronzing

UNIQUE AND CONTEMPORARY

Our bronzing with gold and silver powder is unique in Switzerland. We’re the only printing company in the country with expertise in one of the oldest print finishing techniques.

Bronzing is a classic finishing technique for producing brilliant, high-quality effects with gold and silver. Nothing gives a print product a more exclusive character than the lustre (an old French word meaning “gloss” or “radiance”) of bronzing. It’s an effect that can’t be achieved with any other finishing technique.

LED-UV offset printing

Thanks to LED technolog – color images – shine in the most brilliant colors – even on uncoated paper.

Here are the main advantages:

  • odorless inks
  • no drying times, therefore shorter production times
  • best color results, no color changes due to drying process
  • higher color saturation and ink coverage
  • possibility of inline finishing with UV high-gloss varnish
  • better color brilliance of UV inks compared to conventional inks
  • dispersion varnish as protective coating not necessary – except for material heavier than 200 g/m2
  • no powder application necessary
  • reduced ozone emissions, lower CO2 emissions
  • up to 80% less power consumption

NEW YEARS GIFT LITHOGRAPHIC PRINT

At the end of the year we produce a lithographic print as a thank you gift for our friends and customers. Each year we select an artist to work with Thomi Wolfensberger in the stone printing atelier. The cards are printed on rag cotton paper and the edition is signed by the artist.
